\nFrom February 12th to the 15th, WOODY PUDDY will exhibit at the American International Toy Fair in New York (booth no. 5655).

\nhe\u2019s an artist obsessed in drawing pretty stuffed animals.

\nI am Yamada of the WOODY PUDDY \u201cOverseas Department\u201d.
\nHave you never heard of a staff named Yamada or such department?
\nI happen to be the other administrator of our Facebook page, mainly managed by Toji-san.
\n(I sometimes translate her blog entries and tweets into English.)
\nHaving been in charge of the preparation since last year, let me tell you a little bit about the show.
\nStarting next Sunday from February 12th, WOODY PUDDY will join the American International Toy Fair 2012, the biggest toy event in the US.
\nWhy we came to exhibit at such an event is because\u2026
\nWell, it has been 5 years since the birth of WOODY PUDDY.
\nThanks to our precious customers, many people in Japan have come to know our brand.
\nBesides business in Japan, the number of inquiries from overseas has been increasing rapidly.
\nWe have exhibited at the \u201cAlibaba Trade Show\u201d in Guangzhou last year, and in Shanghai in January this year to introduce the brand to Asia.

\nNaturally we chose the American Toy Fair in New York, where buyers and the media gather from all over the world.
\nWe must show the toys of WOODY PUDDY, full of Japanese craftsmanship to kids worldwide!<\/strong>

\nHow would Americans and people from all over the world react to the solid wood toys of WOODY PUDDY? We could hardly wait.

\nThe site, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is a giant glass building complex, standing in the middle of Manhattan, New York, by the Hudson River. The famous convention facility is also called \u201cThe Marketplace for the World.\u201d
\nGround Zero,
\nthe Empire State building,  
\nand Broadway are nearby.
\nIt is exciting to imagine actually visiting these places I am so used to seeing in the news and movies (this is my first visit to NY).

\nHe is a 28-year-old who loves English and drawing pictures.
\nHe was born in Kobe, Japan.
\nHe spent the majority of his elementary school years in the US but lost most of his English skills after returning to Japan before starting to learn it again in junior high. He studied hard and later became a master (?) of \u201ctextbook English.\u201d
\nHe used to teach a student of the famous N\u25cfda high school.
\nAt work he is mainly engaged in translation from Japanese to English and vice versa.
\nHis main hobbies are translating, drawing pictures and teaching English.
\n\u2026reading this should make you feel he must be some sort of snobbish genius, right?
\nNo way. He is actually a nice boy and a bit of a scatterbrain that brings good laughs to the working place lol<\/span>
\nI will tell him to share one of his drawings next time.
